Mads Schwartz, a loving family man and brilliant police officer, has just been promoted to the homicide division when his brother Andreas shows up unexpectedly at his door. Andi is considered the black sheep of the family, but the good-natured Mads lets him live with him. Mads realises too late that his brother seems to be very interested in one of his cases and when Andi interferes in the investigation in a very illegal way, the brothers are set on a course towards disaster.
