Triplet Trouble (Ein Drilling kommt selten allein)
Widowed Latin teacher Jakob Buchmann is always in a suit and always punctual - in 30 years he hasn’t missed a day of work. But now he is about to retire – and next week he’s off to Canada, forever. Once there Jakob wants to leave everything behind: Munich, the school, the talkative mobile phone company - just him and the great silence ... But then the lively lifestyle journalist Linda Rosenau arrives... Not only is this woman the epitome of all that he finds terrible, she also reveals that he has become the grandfather of triplets, as Linda's daughter Leonie has just given birth. And since the babies‘ father Thomas, Jakob's son - from whom Jakob is estranged - is nowhere to be found and knows nothing about the new arrivals, Linda needs Jakob to step up to the responsibilities of being a grandfather. And so the two very different grandparents must work together – because with triplets to look after, Leonie needs their help...
