Among Karsten Guenther’s productions is the series Things We Fear, which received multiple award nominations and wins, including the Grimme Prize, the German Television Award, and the DafFNE from the German Television Academy. Karsten Guenther is a graduate of the University of Television and Film Munich.
In 2014, he was awarded the “Transmedia Prize” at the Munich Film Festival for a cross-media entertainment concept addressing civil courage. During this time, he worked in the scripted development department at Lionsgate Entertainment in the United States. From 2015 onwards, he was responsible for building new creative units in the digital division of Axel Springer SE, and most recently led the development of cross-platform content strategies and partnerships as Head of Creative Content Strategy & Business Development.
